Only the provider's public feed plays a role in this approach. Learning provider and data consumer (LMS or intermediary) agree on how discounts are being applied to the publicly available pricing information. No EDU-DEX functionality is used in this form of communication

A client specific feed in EDU-DEX format is transferred from supplier to data consumer. It will contain pre-calculated prices and possibly be filtered compared to the provider's public feed (if any).

Apart from its public feed, the learning provider publishes discount information for all targeted data consumers in a closed, i.e. key protected context. The feeds involved are only available to the EDU-DEX service; no other parties should be able to access them.

The feeds involved are only available to the EDU-DEX service; no other parties should be able to access them. The EDU-DEX service will send both publicly available information, plus data consumer specific program data with applied discounts, to each targeted data consumer.
